Re: big draw after min reraise
Checkraise all in looks good. If he checks behind, hooray for free cards.

Re: big draw after min reraise
Well, any bet is going to commit yourself to this pot assuming either of you put in a good 3/4 pot sized bet. With that in mind I choose the line "push please". At first I liked a check raise push but the more I thought about it I wanted to get my chips in the pot first and put the pressure on him.

Re: big draw after min reraise
Push, you want to give him every opportunity to fold.
I don't like the checkraise line because it puts more of his chips in the pot potentially pot-committing him to the hand. Plus you get the added bonus of him folding to your semi-bluff and not letting everyone see your loose raising standards. |

Re: big draw after min reraise
I see two options:
1) CR push. You will be called as you are not deep enough to have FE IMO. 2) Bet pot. You are telling your opponent you are going to go broke on this hand. This allows any whiffed overcards to fold. So, do you want to overcards to fold? I would say no and therefore would CR push. -Mike PS with the min re-raise overcards are not likely, but I would say the odds of them ae not zero. Also I am not very good so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. |

Re: big draw after min reraise
the problem is, you don't WANT a free card here. You are almost undoubtedly ahead on this flop, and a free card most likely either puts you behind or injures your action.

Re: big draw after min reraise
IMO I absolutley want overcards to fold...if they dont then im the one currently chasing...Putting in a pot sized bet is pointless, it will leave him under 600 dollars...just push IMO.

Re: big draw after min reraise
Why do you want overcards to fold? Don't you have ~18 outs vs overcards? (Discounted some outs slightly.)
The pot bet leaves you so little behind that your opponent must know you are not folding. However I often see people fold to a pot bet when they will not fold to an overbet push. Otherwise I agree with you that the pot bet is silly. -Mike |

Re: big draw after min reraise
I push here everytime. But then again I probably wouldn't have played this hand in the first place.

Re: big draw after min reraise
i think i like a push. You have no FE if you check raise, but you have a lot just pushing into him. and if you're called you're not in bad shape.
