Default WSOPHD?

is espn going to show the wsop ME on ESPNHD? while it would be a giant waste of cameras, it would still be kinda cool. hd is just much much easier to look at. even if its looking at mike matusow .

Agreed. I hate the giant HDs on ESPN on the side of my plasma.

Yep (not a plasma - CRT but still annoying. yes, it weighs a ton)

As far as a waste of cameras, I don't see that. What do they need? 5 HD cameras? They don't do production there so they don't need the HD trailer. Holes cards would be in SD. I would enjoy watching this in HD....maybe next year.

every show should be in HD. I cant stand to watch standard television shows anymore. It reminds me of the times I was a kid and the cable would go out so you had to watch t.v. with an antenna until it came back on.

I spoke to one of the ESPN camera crew at Binions and they definitely shot it in HD...

Why, so you can see more of the felt? What the heck is going to be gained by showing poker in HD?

someone without a HDTV shouldn't comment on issues involving HDTV(not trying to be an ass)...once you start watching shows (especially sports) in HD you will hate watching SD programming!

I dont own a HD TV but Im sure if I did I would want to watch whatever programming I could in HD no matter how the level or clarity affects the programming. Quit being a hater.

didn't say it was....was saying that once you start watching programming in HD you won't want to go back to SD. Sports are by far the most amazing programming to see in HD. It's like watching black and white verses color.

my other arguement was that it wouldn't take a lot of resources for ESPN to do this (at least the final table) in HD.
