Cheap college kid's beer and ESPN poker. The perfect fit it's what ran through my small brain.

Best of Luck

Milwaukee's Best Light and Chris Ferguson?

They trying to trailer trash to play? No one else would do it?

Discuss.

Well...Beast is quite popular among the HS/college crowd (at least in my days) b/c it's cheap as hell. I prefer Natty, but oh well.

Nastiest tasting liquid I have ever consumed = Boh' Ice (or "Bob Ice" as I like to call it). PBR is great though... best of the cheap beers IMO.

He is refering to Natural Light though... I think it is a lowline Miller beer. I think that Natty Bo is brewed in Baltimore and is a local thing (could be wrong though).

Levitra sponsored the 2004 WSOP - does that mean they were hoping for more erections at the main event this year?

Of course, depending on whom you ask, there were arguably more pricks. But I digress.

I was pretty sure he was talking about National Bohemian, often referred to as Natty Bo, and when my friends were making fun of it, Nasty Bo.

For my money the king of all cheap bears was Goebels. Real horse piss but at 7 bucks a case, we developed a real taste for it. However, I was going to link to it for those who haven't heard about this fine fine brew, and after a brief search on the web I'm pretty sure it was made by the Stoh's brewery in Winson Salem, NC which is no longer in business.

So long Goebel's...you will be (sorta) missed.

When I was on spring break in Daytona my senior year in college, we stumbled upon beers called "Bridage" and "Brigade Light." We bought it for the sole reason that it was cheaper than the Beast. It tasted cheaper than the Beast. Throw a few Crsytal Burgers into the mix, and it was not a pleasant experience.

Yeah! PBR is great bowling beer. When it comes to getting laid, I seem to do well when Beast Ice is flowing out of the keg.

I for one am sick of all the Beast bashing. When I used to drink it in college it said right on the can that it was a premium beer. A PREMIUM BEER. How can you argue with that?

the WSOP is at least partially responsible for making High Life popular.

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought 30-cases costing $13 was what made High Life popular.
