I would count it as lost, it doesn't mean don't "try" and get it back but I wouldn't count on it If you do get it back , its kid of like found money heh

This is why if anything is ever confiscated from you by a police officer, you ask for a receipt.

I'm almost certain they will count the chips and note the color--if its siezed as evidence. Although, they may not ascribe the same dollar value that the card room does to those chips.

On the table - yes. In front of you - perhaps not. The storys I have been told about the Mayfair's bust was that the police confiscated the chips, and the club did their best to estimate reimbursement for everyone.

How about trying not to be a prick? If your playing in an illigal cardroom your fully aware of what can happen if the club gets raided. Although a minor offence it's still an offence. Doesn't seem worth getting yourself shot in the head.
