Can you read ITH and SSH same time?

What i mean reading both books back and forth.

or it going to confuse you a lot because of the different strategies?

Any tips of you own both books ITH and SSH, in how to read them?

so just put SSH away for now and concentrate on ITH book first..

It normally takes a while to digest what is in these books, then you have to be able to apply it in a game. Don't rush though them.

Absolutely!

It just takes a little bit of practice. When I am going to multi-book I like to have a large table so I can lay out my books in a grid format similar to multi-tabling in poker.

Then I just start reading back and forth like you suggest. When you start off don't try to do to much, maybe start with like a Hardy Boys book and an archie comic and work on multi-booking with those until you can fully digest the content of both. When starting off multi-booking read one paragraph in the first book, then a paragraph in the second book, and repeat, eventually you can mix it up a bit by only doing a sentance or two before switching over to the next.

With a little bit of practice not only will you be able to read ITH and SSH at the same but probably TOP and HEPFAP as well.

Read ITH once and make sure you take your time and really study the hands. SSH however, is far more advanced and should be studied over and over. After this reread.

I own both and have read both. ITH is a great beginners book. It really touches every subject and gives you a nice foundation to start with.

By calling it a beginners book though I'm not saying the only people who read it should be people new to poker. I played poker for about 3-4 months before I read ITH and learned a lot from it.

SSH already assumes you know the principles already covered in a book like ITH. It assumes you have a good foundation and knowledge of the game and gives you a certain playing style against certain types of oppenents.

I like SSH a lot, but if you don't have a good foundation already, SSH can be a dangerous book.

I read 'em both in 2 days and got my poker bankroll up from $20 to $20.09 in the $0.01/0.02 games. It can be done.

In 29 states it's illegal to do so.
