Default Amazon.com sales ranks

Harrington on Hold-Em: #302
Small Stakes Hold-Em: #440

That's just amazing. This could explain why zillions are logging onto Party Poker and the like, and why the games seem to be full at all the local cardrooms despite there being 3 times as many tables as there were 2 years ago.

This is a ranking, there are numerous other titles that share the same exact rank as HoH and SSHE.

Other sales ranks include:
Super System - Amazon.com Sales Rank in Books: #75
Caro's Book of Tells - Amazon.com Sales Rank in Books: #190
TOP - Amazon.com Sales Rank in Books: #217
Winning Low Limit Hold'em - Amazon.com Sales Rank in Books: #387
Play Poker Like the Pros - Amazon.com Sales Rank in Books: #520

Don't get me wrong, I'm not raining on 2+2's parade. The rankings are actually quite good!!! This does does show just how popular 2+2 titles are... way to go guys!

...and maybe why the games at Party seem to be getting tougher and tougher with fewer people seeing the flop.

You do realize that ToP is the only 2+2 book in that group right?

Actually, ties are not duplicated in the rankings. For example, see:

Super/System: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...ll/books/0/1/3

Harrington (now #283): http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg.../books/0/1/12/

For instance, Harrington is outselling the fourth Harry Potter book. This changes hourly, though, so you may not be able to find it on the above pages unless you're quick.

Hi cpk:

Actually, the Amazon rank is not representing all the demand for Harringtoon on Hold 'em. That's because they keep running out of books and then change the delivery date from 24 hours to 1 to 2 weeks or more. And every time they do this the sales rank drops. If they could have kept up with demand, I'm sure that the book would have entered their top 100 list, and should still do so once they process in all the books we have shipped to them.

Best wishes,
Mason

Amazon UK have just cancelled my order that was placed well before Christmas. The reason given is that they are 'unable to obtain the....item'.

Is it available anywhere in the UK yet? If Amazon can't get hold of it, I guess no-one can?

Hi konions:

Al our books are available through wholesalers so any authorized book seller can get a hold of them. As for specifics as to who in the UK actually has the book in stock at this moment, I can't help you. But in time Amazon.UK will have it.

Best wishes,
Mason

I'm pretty sure highstakes.co.uk have it in stock. A quick email to them will confirm this (rather than the order-wait-give up sequence of amazon)

I gave up long ago and order almost all my poker books from Conjelco directly. With the current dollar rate being totally in the gutter it means cheapo books.
