Default $22 first hand, middle pair + flush draw

How do you play it?

Villain1 posts small blind (10)
TheSalche posts big blind (15)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to TheSalche [ 9h, 7h ]
Villain2 calls (15)
4 folds
Villain3 calls (15)
Villain4 calls (15)
Villain5 calls (15)
Villain1 calls (5)
TheSalche checks.
** Dealing Flop ** : [ 2h, 7c, Qh ]
Villain1 checks.
TheSalche ???

How do you play this if:
a. you bet, and you're called and the turn blanks
b. you check and face a bet 1/2 - 2/3 size of pot
c. turn and river blank?

It is pretty subjective to say that under A. you should do this whenever the river blanks because there are many variables to consider ie. the size of the raise, how many callers, etc.

This is a tough hand to play, esp with so many initial callers, that is why I would raise to something in the neighborhood of 80-100. You really don't want to have to go up against people holding a Q and people with flush draws. The raise will hopefully get rid of 1 or the other, from there you should be able to play your hand accordingly.

Intially checking and folding to a pot sized bet would be fine IMO but that might be a leak.

Allright well flop play seems confusing here ... What actually happened was I bet out 45 (1/2 the pot), and I got one caller.

** Dealing Turn ** : [ Jc ]
TheSalche checks.
Villain checks.
** Dealing River ** : [ Qs ]
TheSalche bets (45)
Villain raises (250) to 250
TheSalche folds.

is that the right play?

Why bet the river? The river bet is just pathetic. Give up the hand when you have 3 third pair on the river.
