Beef Top Raman mixed with sliced beef-n-gravy boil-in-the-bag. Add a touch of garlic. Nice. Cheap. Filling.

I've been looking around for boil-in-the-bag stuff and haven't been able to find it anymore. Who's still making it?

KFC now has the meal combo's without having to buy the watered down soda.

$4 meals... gets you 2 pieces of chicken, 2 sides, and a buscuit. Now how can you go wrong with that? Dinner for 2 for about $8.64. That's only 1/3 of a buy-in at the 25 NL table.

quesadilla.

fry pan chicken breast with olive oil. chop up some green onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. throw them in just as the chicken is about done. heat up a tortilla. melt some cheese. throw in chicken and veggies.

voila! eat with hot sauce. change as you like.

quesadilla.

This is an excellent suggestion! I have these frequently. If I'm particularly lazy, i'll just slap cheese and salsa on a tortilla and put it in the toaster oven. Fold it over and there it is.

Pay by weight salad bar at supermarket , provided you only take the "good" stuff.

This is easily the biggest rip off in the supermarket... $4 a pound for salad is NOT cheap

It depends often the cheese, olives, peppers are at a discount to there individual price. Its paying $4 a pound for the iceburg lettuce that kills you.

Besides which he said "cheap dinners". A salad ain't a [censored] dinner unless you're a rabbit.
