Maybe it was my exceedingly low expectations for it. I hate, and for the most part refuse to watch, Ben Stiller movies. I only saw it because my roommate bought it.

At least it wasn't Napoleon Dynamite. I still want that hour and a half of my life back.

I like most Michael Mann movies, but I didn't think that much of Collateral. I thought it was kind of "self-important" like Michael Mann thought he was making a much better movie than he was.

Side note: has anyone noticed that in most Tom Cruise movies, there is an obligatory Tom Cruise sprinting down an alleyway or something like it scene?

I thought "Castaway" would suck, and about three years went by before I finally saw it. It was, of course, awesome.

I thought "Animal House" was going to be stupid. I was, of course, awesome.

Not exactly on-topic, but the trailer that got me to see "Reservoir Dogs" made it look like a cute comedy about bungling crooks. I went to see it with my fiancee. Oops!

Yeah, it's not really close at all. I didn't like the South Park movie too much, but BASEketball is simply genius.

super troopers=WAAAAAAY over rated, i think it's trendy to say "omfg super troopers rocks" so you can get the reaction from the other party "what is super troopers?" the first 30 minutes of super troopers is awesome, the rest is garbage.

the first movie that comes to mind is Butterfly Effect. I thought "Ashton Kutcher playing a semi serious role? BOOOO!" I was quite surprised, an excellent movie IMO
