I would slowplay the second one if there were more people in the hand.

Exactly. Watch me miss a bet on the flop. (Me thinking this was probably the dozenth time this guy bluffed or overplayed his hand, as he's been doing since he joined, and I want him to bet into me on the turn)

Paradise Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Flop: (12.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

Turn: (9.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, BB calls.

River: (17.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, BB calls.

Final Pot: 25.25 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
BB doesn't show. (but he three of a kind, eights)
Hero has Kh Kd (three of a kind, kings).
Outcome: Hero wins 25.25 BB. </font>

I've seen it countless times though, a WPT-watching playa' goes all the way to the river just calling the bettor, then jumps into action with set vs. set, and leaves a whole bunch of money in the other guys stack.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but isn't more people a reason not to slowplay?

If your hand is vulnerable yes. But we have an almost invincible hand. So it there are 6 people in the pot, there is likely more value in getting them to pay us off on the turn and river rather than pushing them out on the flop.

Sure, but in a multiway pot you're much more likely to get callers making it more valuable to put in bets and raises.

It would be very dependent on reads of the players, your postition to the aggresive players, etc. Not saying you always do it.

I completely agree with this, but assuming a typical PP .5/1 table I don't see more PF callers as an argument to slowplay here.

Maybe this is due to the fact that I'm not used to playing 6-max, and I'm not saying never to slowplay either.
