when you ask a girl out, are you real simple like "wanna go do something this weekend?" or do you have more of a plan like "I have tickets to (whatever) this Friday night - do you want to go?"

what style works best?

simple is fine, arising from whatever you're talking about is better. If you're agreeing on something you both like (or disagreeing in a friendly way), say, then 'wow, I'd love to talk to you about this a lot more, what about we ....'

a) you're confident she'll say yes
b) if she doesn't say yes, you won't care
