$50 PL... Dazed and Confused...
I didn't have a read on either villain at this point. I'm not sure how I could've played this better but I certainly didn't like the position I got into. $0.50-$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Hold'em (Real Money) Seat 0: Folder ($36 in chips) Seat 1: Villain 1 ($48 in chips) Seat 2: Folder ($85.85 in chips) (on the button) Seat 3: Folder ($15.25 in chips) Seat 4: Folder ($9.80 in chips) Seat 5: Folder ($21.50 in chips) Seat 6: Folder ($52.75 in chips) Seat 7: Hero ($61.40 in chips) Seat 8: Villain 2 ($30.50 in chips) Seat 9: Folder ($34 in chips) Folder: Post Blind ($0.50) Folder: Post Blind ($0.50) *** Blind Bet Round *** : Dealt to Hero : As 2d 6s Ac *** Pre-Flop *** : Folder : Fold Folder : Fold Hero : Raise ($2) Villain 2 : Call ($2) Folder : Fold Folder : Fold Villain 1 : Call ($2) Folder : Fold Folder : Fold Folder : Fold *** Flop *** : 5c 9h 10s Hero : Bet ($3) Villain 2 : Call ($3) Villain 1 : Call ($3) *** Turn *** : [ 5c 9h 10s ] Jc Hero : Check Villain 2 : Check Villain 1 : Bet ($15) Hero : ? |

Fold. Doesn't look like you beat anything but pocket Kings. You don't have a ton of money invested at this point, and it is obviously a bad board for A-A-2-6.

Re: $50 PL... Dazed and Confused...
I probably would have potted the flop instead of the $3 bet; I always push AAxx on the flop if its rainbow, 1 low card and only a str8 draw. If nothing else, you'll know where you stand at this point.
As for the turn, scary card but your small bet on the turn may not have been enough to scare gut shot str8 draws off. I would think someone to have made a nut str8 (KQ) and paid the pf and flop bets, they would have to have some combination like KKQJ. You could be up against middle or bottom set also. You do have the nut [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flush blocked though which may be worth a call and a raise if another unpaired club hits. Hard to tell without knowing the players. |

Re: $50 PL... Dazed and Confused...
Pot the flop or check it, 1/2 pot is nonsense. You're giving every man and his uncle nice odds to draw to their donkey hands.
I'd prefer to pot, as you could get a fold depending on the table. The board is unlikely to have hit anyone hard, but there could be draws out there. Plus, 3, 4, A or a spade will make for a good turn if you have a big pot. Let go if you're raised (obviously). Turn is a no brainer fold. Disclaimer: This is from a NL holdem player new to omaha so this might not be standard nutpeddler advice |
