It's the start of the tournament, so i dont know much if anyything.

He pushed the river pretty quick. and it felt sooo much like a bluff.

I dont have to be good alll that often.

I call the river but I would have checked the turn.

If this were UB, I can think of probably a dozen decent players who will make this move early in a tournament. If it were me against them, I'd probably think about calling around 1 in 3 times.

I agree with King Dan's point though, and in this case I think he has you. The cold call on the turn is telling.

So many players will play any pair from anywhere early. It's entire possible that he has made a baby set.

Some players will never let go of a 4-straight or 4-flush early either. Possibly he lucked out and straighted the river holding something like J9s.

Your turn bet "told" him that you have at least Tens. He called that and then bet into you. He is either very good or very lucky. Neither bodes well for you here, IMHO.

Curious to see the answer.

I'm guessing missed flush, maybe with a pair.

I think you are right enough here to call.

You have to be good 1/1 times if you want any chance to do well in this tournament.

I really dont think this looks like a bluff often enough. Smells more like a slowplayed set. (maybe spiked it on the turn)

looks a hell of a lot more like a missed draw (and there are a lot of potential ones on this board) than a very strong hand. Hard to put a % on it, but I'd guess like 60% missed draw, 40% he has you beat. Definitely a call though in my opinion.

How often? Just about never. You showed so much strength that I can't see him tryint to take you off of the hand, especially when a relatively safe card hits. Most likely he has 33 or T7 or something.

u really think 88 is staying in on this flop? cmon

i think this looks more like a missed draw than anything else but possibly flopped set. this is a very tought decision but i think if you factor in the missed draw bluff aspect it probaly is correct to call
