I gave him a permanent ban for insulting posts because I had already suspended him at least twice before.

Basically, he flames other posters a lot.

I think what Mat and I are interested in is whether he makes positive contributions in any of the forums.

I have no problem with him staying gone. As far as I know, he has never really contributed anything positive to the forums.
