Default River play 6M

I'm posting this hand readless as it was my 2nd hand at the table, and I had no hands on the opponents I was up against. How do YOU handle this river against standard 1/2 6M unknowns?

I bet, hope the BB calls, and call a raise from Button.

What makes you think the BB is gonna call? He call/capped the flop and raised my turn bet? From an unknown, that screams monster to me. And all the Button has done is raise.

Aah, good point. I misread the flop action, thought the Button capped.

That makes this a check/call for me then, and fold to 2 bets probably.

Sucks, but I think we have to. Sure, it could be KT, 99, or even KQ from BB, but I'd hate to see QT, J9, or an oddly played AK or something.

How many times do we have to be good here to justify calling possibly 4 bets on the river?
