Default Whats my action on the turn

Villian in this hand is really fishy, 51/1/0,8 WtSD 40% over 90 hands. On the turn I felt really lost OPP and everything.

Well if you bet the flop, it would be contradictory to check the turn now.

I think we can bet/fold the turn hu. If he calls, check/fold the river ui.

It's tough to put UTG on a hand with those stats, but I think I'm betting the turn. Unless he has a queen, the A and J are both probably good, we have a gutshot and some fold equity. If he raises the turn I'm torn between calling and folding. If we think he's so passive that he wouldn't raise without the queen then fold, if he's willing to take a shot, I'd call and see what the river brings.

I feel like I'm playing the role of wookie here, but you've got 3 hands posted on the front page. Not to discourage posting hands, but try replying to other people's posts as well.

I've gotten mired in a few of these hands, too.

Usually Villain is a calling station with a small PP and will call down to the river. 33, 44, etc. Occasionally Ax.

There's no great line from here. I've tried representing strength and they still call down, no matter what. Now I'm more inclined to check the turn, wanting a free card, a cheap showdown and maybe a bailout on the river.

As much fun as it is to collect chips from calling stations, this is one of the few situations where their flabby play can keep them around till they win with a weak but sufficient hand.

I'd recommend keeping the pot small and letting them pay you on a different hand.
