Default Standing on principles

Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R) of Texas:

[ QUOTE ]
And secondly, I certainly hope that if there is going to be an indictment that says something happened, that it is an indictment on a crime and not some perjury technicality where they couldn't indict on the crime and so they go to something just to show that their two years of investigation was not a waste of time and taxpayer dollars.

[/ QUOTE ]

Could it be that she said this some 8 odd years ago? Or was it this week?

I don't know about you but I think blantant perjury is a pretty big crime for a public official no matter who it is.

I was quoting Kay Bailey.

Perjury is a crime if the alleged perjurer is of the other party.
