Borgata or the Taj, USA - An American man who attempted to play 1000 SnGs in 5 days almost non-stop died of heart failure while in the middle of his mammoth session in his home, authorities said on Monday.
The man, identified only by his 2+2 name miami32, had been playing up to 12 tables at a time, police said.
miami32 had planted himself in front of a computer monitor to play online SnGs on Sept 23. He only left the spot over the next three days to go to the toilet and take brief naps on a makeshift bed, they said.
"We presume the cause of death was heart failure stemming from exhaustion," a 2+2 forum official said by telephone.
miami32 had recently had his wisdom teeth removed. After he failed to post his results daily, miami32's forum friends started to worry. When they reached the his house, maimi32 said he would finish the last set of 12 and then go to bed, the paper reported.
He died a few minutes later, it said.
