Default Interestingg AA Limp UTG situation

So my friend was playing in the midnight Party 100+9 last night. He's in the money, 40 paid, 36 left. My friend says he has a slightly above avg stack, not sure what it was.

My friend gets dealt AA. One is the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Limps UTG. Apparently the whole table started laughing, saying they knew what he had, it was obvious, blah blah. Chip leader of the tournament checks in the BB.

Flop comes

3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villian instapushes.

You have to call here w/ Aces right? I find big stack's play here interesting.

Big stack's hand is below in white.

You have to call just about any flop with aces in that situation, even if he knows that you know that he knows that you have aces.

I think this is a call, although I don't have information on stack sizes.

I don't like the limp UTG with AA when everyone thinks it is AA. This is a good time to limp with KQ, 77, 65s, etc. and steal the pot on the flop.

yeah, I'm more interested in the villian's play here. I think it's a really good play, considering that even if villian is right about hero's aces, he's still a flip to win. Then again, he would be wrong about hero, and gains al ot of fold equity.

"sometimes both players can play a hand perfectly and all the chips end up in the middle. Luck is all that's left."
