Default 2 pair OOP, minraised on turn, big bet on river - NL100

Hero is SB with $100.
Villain is MP2 with $100.

No reads (my second hand at the table).

Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

3 players limp, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop ($5): Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB checks, Hero bets $4, 2 folds, MP2 calls $4, SB folds.

Turn ($13): 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $8, MP2 raises to $16, Hero calls $8.

River ($45): 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero checks, MP2 bets $50, Hero folds.

I have a feeling this is pretty standard, but I'm wondering if I should just fold to the minraise on the turn if I'm going to fold the river anyway. If I am calling the turn (implied odds on filling up?), do I block bet the river, or c/c c/f the river depending on bet size?

Without a read, I make a pot-size bet on the turn and fold to the minraise in that case.

What do you put him on? I guess it looks like QJ/set, but that 7 didn't help him.

I'm confused.

I could see him play 2 pair, set, or flopped straight this way. I am really leaning towards a straight, because I would expect a flop raise or a bigger turn bet with the more vulnerable 2 pair or set on this scary board.

Folding the turn seems close. Looks a lot like set or straight, and maybe QJ. But since you didn't bet much on the turn, you're getting decent odds so a call doesn't seem terrible. Blocking the river is not good unless maybe he would semibluff the turn with a flush draw. River seems fine.
