Bet the turn.
Bet the river, fold to a raise?

You don't want him to check behind a hand you beat on the river.

Agreed, but do I beat enough hands that he'll call with?

I lose to any A or 4 and tie or lose to any K. He'll probably pay me off with QQ, JJ, and TT, maybe 88 or a smaller pair -- I think he folds Q high.

I guess his turn call made me suspicious (because he had been an aggressive player and had raised preflop) that he was waiting to raise the river (and I did not not want to bet/fold the river vs. a LAG).

If the river didn't pair the board, I think I probably bet the river since he'll pay off with a K with worse kicker.
