I spoke about the positive economic and social benefits of legalizing prostitution. I didn't do the most stringent research and that showed when one of the positives I spoke of was rape reduction...I actually got booed in a college class...

No. It's not difficult to tell when a girl is happy to be doing whatever, usually because she is putting her tongue in your mouth, your hand on her assorteds or her hand on your bits. That's the kind of consent that actual girls tend to respond with. If they want to do something then they tend to actively engage in doing it. If you're ever unsure if you can proceed you say "is this cool?" and react accordingly. Honest to god, it's not that tricky. Girls are not complicated. They're just people.

[/ QUOTE ] Cool, sex advice from Bison! I've got a question then, Bison- I want certain things in bed but don't want to hurt her feelings after it's been a couple years. Like wow it would be nice if you'd stop lying there like a limp doll but actually act more aggressive and put your hands on me. Would this be best accomplished before, during or after in order to not make her mad or hurt? I've actually tried this a couple times during the act but it seems to not stick with her the next time. I know, very dumb bed partner.

If you've gotten her to follow through during, then I'd start with the same kind of encouragement during and then after say "that was really awesome when you blah blah blah, I'd love it if you did that every time."
It's honest, it doesn't communicate dissatisfaction with the current regime, and it's direct. If you keep needing to remind her (which you should for at least a little while if this stuff is really important to you) then A) She's not very attentive, B) she's distracted, C) she doesn't really like it, but is willing to do it on occasion to make you happy or D) she really doesn't like it. Then you'll have to figure that out. Hint: try asking her.
