Default AKo utg and multiway.. turn TPTK and BB leads - $100NL

Villain is 22/2/1.5 after about 160 hands. Is it a mistake to fold here? Sure looks like a whiffed c/r.

Villain (BB) $290
Hero (UTG) $120
..
MP1 $25
MP2 $40
SB $227

Dealt to Hero A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, MP1 calls $4, MP2 calls $4, 4 folds, SB calls $3.5, Villain calls $3.

Flop ($20): 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
5 checks.

Turn ($20): 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, Villain bets $26, Hero ?

I think I would dump it. With 5 people in the pot there are just too many things that can go wrong here, and you have to invest a really large amount to find out. What if he slowplayed a set, which is very much possible, are you gonna call a river bet?

I was thinking the same thing. I just wanted to make sure, since it isn't often you chuck TPTK to the first bet post-flop. The more I think of it, it seems like a pretty easy fold. (Though I still welcome anyone who contradicts this...)

To make it more interesting, then, what if the flop was 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and the BB led for $26?

I'd call and dump to serious turn action.

I play a set like villain here probably did- check an insuspicous looking board and lead out at the PF raiser when a A or king drops- hoping they then reraise.
