Default Heavy foot on flopped low set..

I'm new to the table, but both villans have seen 4 or 5 flops and havent raised pf yet.

No showdowns on either.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB calls, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, BB calls.

River: (16 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, BB calls.

Final Pot: 22 BB

After villian doesn't 3-bet the turn I'm sure I have it.

My main question is concerning the flop-turn transition on my line. Is going for the trap better here or should I be capping the flop?

I figured kq would probably cc'ing my flop raise and sticking me for 3 on the turn, so I'm not very worried by it. AA/JJ are very remote given preflop play ofc.

This standard or should I slow down at all? And what's with this river donkness? Guess I'm hoping to get value from an a or j or 2p, whatever these guys have.

thanks for your thought/time

I probably would have capped the flop. Partly this is because if by some chance you are up against KQ, you're in better shape against that hand now than you would be on a turn blank. Still, it's quite possible I would get checkraised on the turn by KQ, so if you're up against that hand, it's simply going to be expensive if you don't improve. Anyway, I don't really have a problem with your line.

When you don't get 3-bet on the turn, it's looking like SB has AJ or JT or something, unless he got tricky preflop with AA/JJ and is now scared.

I don't know what BB's river donkbet means. Maybe he has A7 or something? Another possibility is that he has 98 and is worried you have KQ.

But, anyway, I think you won this.
