The Completely Overrated Killers

Just got back from the "Best Music Poll" show put on by WFNX at the waterfront in Boston and...

Interpol >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>> The Killers

No doubt, the Killers put on a good show, but their inferior songwriting and musicianship really showed in comparison to Interpol. Had this show been 6 months earlier (before the total overhype of the Killers), Interpol would've played last (and consequently, after dark) and totally rocked the house in a way the Killers thought not possible. It doesn't help that the Killers totally did not have enough songs.

Overall, a good show, but

Louis XIV, Robbers on High Street. I didn't really listen to them, got there before Interpol went on, bought some beers and just chilled. ($7 for Bud Light! Thank god Harpoon IPA was only $8, but highway mofo-ing robbery.)

the first album deserved the acclaim. it's the second album that was overrated.
