Getting Wheeled
Haven't been paying as much attention as I should, villian has not gotten out of line, neither have I. The river is tough to bet without an ace, but it's also a good bluff card, though I think a blocker bet gets me no extra equity. There's a good chance that a call-call line has me beat already; but I'm overall just confused. A little psychological question at the end.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 3 handed) converter Hero ($226) Button ($274.90) SB ($162.50) Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $1. Button raises to $4, SB (poster) calls $3, Hero calls $2. Final Pot: $139 After the hand the dialogue went like this. Note: I usually never chat, but was a little ticked off after this hand and wanted to feel better. Me - I think you wheeled me there Villian - What's a wheel? What's your take on this, and of course, the entire hand. |

Re: Getting Wheeled
"wheel" is I believe an american phrase. When I first started I never knew this

Re: Getting Wheeled
Tough one. Being 3handed his range can be so wide. You say he has not gotten out of line - I hate it but probably have to go with this read and fold.
Not sure about the merits of a blocking bet here. Interesting hand... would like to see more comments. |
