Default WSOP Satellite on TGC

I was wondering how many players will be in on the December 14th tourney for the 10 seats at the WSOP.

Buy in is 50 bucks but the cost of the entry fees alone is 100,000. That would mean at least 2000 entrants to break even. It is sitting at 300+ with 2 weeks left.

I won a spot by playing in a 5 satellite last week but they have seemed to either lost the results of that tourney or just decided out of the blue to remove me from the registration.

Emailed and called support and hope they can resolve it shortly.

I asked the same question on the internet board - title of the thread is "TGC and the WSOP Tournaments". Didnt get a definitive answer from TGC yet.

www.gamingclubpoker.com

Its part of the prima network. If you plan on signing up, PM Inthacup about his refer-a-friend thing. He'll kick back his share of the bonus to you. The prima network is guaranteeing 10 WSOP seats for their tourney, buyin is 50+5.

I'm already playing on Prima through Grand Bay Poker. I guess I'll have to see if I can sign up for this event through them or if I need to join this TGC skin instead.

Thanks, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Seriously. Greg, I have a laptop, can I come to your house the day of the tournament for some "instruction"?

GL, I'll be in the trenches hoping to pull a varkonyi and get a seat.

Well my results are still among the missing any my name is not listed as a resigistered participant in the final . Hope this gets resolved soon.

Anyone have any advice? I emailed them and called them twice. I had my dates wrong the first time but sent an additional email this morning and haven't gotten a response yet.

I think I'll start charging for online "lessons". ;-)

Can't do it for that event, not if I'm going to be playing in it myself.

The rules are a little confusing in that they state that 1 in 200 players will be "eligible" for 1 of 10 guaranteed WSOP seats.

What does "eligible" mean? Are they only giving away 10 seats if they get 200 entries, or are they guarantying 10 seats regardless?
