Default 11: Get off my AA when the top card pairs on the turn?

When the Jack pairs on the turn, I don't like my hand much anymore, but I'm getting like 3:1. Should I just let it go?

IMO you will see 99, TT and spade overcards often enough to make this call correct.

I would call, I doubt he has a Jack even half the time here.

This is correct. If he had a jack, he would likely try to get fancy since you've been aggressive.

Not only that, but he would often have bet/check-raised the flop.

Thanks for the replies. He did indeed have J9 if anyone cares, but I thought the call was good and wanted to see what others thought.

Does anyone check/raise all-in on the flop here?

I think that at the 11s this flop will get checked through way too often, especially since I was the preflop raiser, so I prefer to just bet.

I've spend a considerable time at the 11s lately and although it is easy to put the villan on AJ or KJ or even QJ based on preflop action, I don't think he is going to be quite so passive on the flop or so aggressive when he makes his set. I think this is a busted flush draw.

Straight FLushes,

SAM

PS what did villan have anyway?
