To be honest, Barry said he will be broke cause all players go broke in their careers. But, the kid was talking smack at the WCOOP and Barry was having fun with it. I prolly shouldn't have quoted it like that. If he keeps playing like tonight; however, he will be broke.

played in....and beaten....the biggest tournament he'll be able to play in

have lower buyins and much smaller prize pools. I would think that once
you've beaten everything you can beat, it would be v easy to get lethargic
and start doing silly stuff, like playing games that you might not be able
to beat (5k HU matches, 25/50NL vs Pragress, ect) that just chunk away at

Barry actually said he'd be very surprised if the kid wasn't broke within a year. No pro gets broke every year.
