Default cheating

2 of my buddies play MTT online together. 1 account - they just make the decisions together on 1 hand (so no table collusion).

do you consider this cheating?

what about in cash games?

Nope. Not online. At B&M yes because that means there are two players to get "reads" on any physical tells (two sets of eyes). Online, it is not as big of a deal and there really isn't anyway to stop it, so no.

No big deal here..

3 of us get together to put our heads together on MTT's.

We do alot better than when we play by ourselves.

If it's cheating at B&M, then it's cheating online as well, whether or not it can be stopped. One player to a hand.

I've done this with a freeroll with my buddies while drinking. The highest I've place in a free roll was 71st. With my buddies it was 21st. I don't know if we cheated or not b/c at times only one of us was accually paying attention. OTOH when we were faced with a big decision we all would be thinking about it. I would say that its in that grey area!!

Of course it's no big deal but the criteria for cheating is not whether you care or not, it's still cheating.
