Default 99 on the button.

How bad is cold-calling here?

What about the flop raise (overpair and OESD)?

Party Poker 1/2 (9 handed)
Hero has 9c, 9h and is Button

MP1 raises, CO(poster) calls, Hero calls, SB folds, BB calls

Flop(8 SB): 8c, 7s, 6d

BB checks, MP1 bets, CO folds, Hero raises, BB calls, MP1 calls

Turn(7 BB): 3s

BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, BB calls, MP1 calls

River(10 BB): 2c

BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, BB calls, MP1 calls

MP1 had TT for the win, btw.

Played ok, IMO...
I mihgt have 3 bet preflop depending on what i know about MP because it will give me control and will help define MP1's hand...Flop fine, turn fine...

River i would probably check through...

Looks good to me and I definitely bet the river. Many players will open-raise light with an extra blind playing. This is definitely logical although I'm not sure how far it should be carried. What it means here is you don't need as much to call.
