Default Flopped trips, bet more?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) converter

MP1 :#A500AF(Villain)/ ($18.45)
MP2 ($6.40)
Hero ($9.35)
CO ($6.10)
Button ($2.20)
SB ($13)
BB ($7.65)
UTG ($10.35)
UTG+1 ($12.45)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 :#A500AF(Villain)/ calls $0.10, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $0.10, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.40) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, Villain checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $0.4</font>, SB folds, BB folds, Villain calls $0.40.

Turn: ($1.20) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Villain checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1</font>, Villain calls $1.

River: ($3.20) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Villain bets $0.4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.2</font>, Villain calls $0.80.

Final Pot: $5.60

I had a loose and very aggressive image at the table. Villain is a total fish. He called a raise preflop with 4 7 and called a bet in a multiway pot with only one overcard. In the long run, I think my flop and turn bets are profitable. Should I have bet more? I don't want to only make a quarter when I hit trips. After the third diamond hit and he bet into me, I think I should have just called. Is there anything I could have done differently before the river?
