I would love to play at HP but it's such a nice area, I think I'd stand out

And my jeans are ripped by Ezra Fitch herself

Seriously though, anywhere in LA the play sux. I mean, I could probably make a solid living playing the 8/16 at the bike or the 9/18 at the commerce.

Thats what you get for stopping for the hookers on Century.

Anywho, there is a world of difference between online $3-6 and B&M games in Los Angeles. Like others have said, there will be at least 3-4 total fish in everygame you play in. If you play lower than $10-20, you are unlikely to be playing with another winning player. That goes for any of the Los Angeles poker rooms.

I was at Hollywood Park yesterday evening too, but I was playing 100NL.

Expect just about every player to be terrible at your table in low-limits at a B&M until you get up to 10/20 and above I suppose. And even then, most are bad. I don't think it really gets tough until maybe 30/60 and above. But most of my experience in these games is just hear say and standing near a table watching them play, wishing I had the money to play.

I've been wanting to jump into that 200NL game at HPC, but don't have the live bankroll yet.

You are commenting on 10/20 and 30/60 but don't have the BR for a $200 NL game? Can't get out of the 100 at HP?

I was amazed at how awful most of the players were. For those who go there, did I just get on a good (for me) table, or is that normal for Hollywood Park?

[/ QUOTE ]

Its normal for any room that spreads a 3-6 game
