Default suited connectors: How fond are you of them?

7,8 through J,Q or so.
I'm thinking I don't play them enough.

do you like them only early on with small blinds?
I often fold them in EP.
If you play middle PP knowing you will only flop your set one time in seven....
how often do you figure you will be throwing connnectors away after the flop?

just wondering,
hyde

I do not like them. I like AA (of any suit), KK, QQ, JJ and AK and I push these before the flop to try to double up.

Can I play agaisnt you for a lot of money then? I like suited connectors in ring games and I raise with them to throw my opponents off. In a SNG especially Party SNG's I feel like I dont really have any room for error or Ill be shortstacked badly so unless I get a big stack early I dont play them all that often. If I do play them its normally in the 10/15 and 15/30 blind levels. Cheap in and cheap to make the hand.

Why? I watch the great players like Phile Ivey on TV and they play the good hands but sometimes they bluff but get caught. That is why I like the all in because then no one can bluff me. It is a good stradegy and I win at the $20 level now.

Well, IPG, you are on your way to becoming a notorious STTF character. Why don't you tell us a little more about yourself?

How old are you?
Where are you from?
Are you a gimmick account?
Are you MegaTOWStanzeePotCommittedXPunisher?
What up?

I feel pretty bad for I play g00t if he's a troll (which I suspect he is, even thought he'll stay in character in this thead). What a giant waste of time. You have to be a pretty giant attention whore to put that amount of effort into trolling a poker internet messageboard.
