Why's my Inspiron 9300's display all crappy?

I'm on the 1920x1200 resolution. is absolutely nothing configured for it? my Party tables are weird (there's the table and theres a pretty big trim around it. I'd give a screenshot but they're down), the log on menus are screwed, all the images on all websites are really unclear.

Big guy. This has seriously been discussed like a 100 times here. A search using "9300" would likely get you the answer pretty quick.

Not sure about the lobby distortion but the trim thing is likely your DPI settings

right click on desktop -> properties -> settings -> advanced -> change DPI setting (probably from 120 to 96)

Right click on desktop, go to properties, settings, advanced - change the DPI to 96 dpi.
