Default Re: Party\'s Collusion? Same player at 2 seats at same table??

i have a similar story as far as locations go. I was 8 tabling and some guy kept saying, '<my name> winterville north carolina????' Finally i saw it and replied, 'yep.' checked his location and said, 'small world' then closed then sat out on half my tables so i could see if i knew the guy.

My town has a population of like...15..which makes it super wierd.

Default UPDATE & found that table mod

First the table mod link can be found in this old thread:

LINK

Hopefully, the link still works - and I think it does.

Secondly, here is Party's response:

[ QUOTE ]
Dear Adam,

Thank you for contacting us.

With reference to your email, we wish to inform you that the players
"gooseduck" and "gooseduck123" are two different players and have not
played a single hand 'together' at our site. We agree with you that they
come from the same location. However, as mentioned before they have
been with us for a considerable amount of time and have never played at
the same tables. It is also possible that they know each other. This
could explain why they sat out in the hands you have mentioned as they do
not play at the same tables.

We thank you for reporting your suspicions to us. Please feel free to
write back to us if you need more clarification in this regards.

Contact us anytime, we are available around the clock to assist you
with your account related questions and suggestions.

Sincerely,

Chaitanya

I can say with 95% certainty that it's ok, and your account will not be closed.

The sites seem to only have problems with programs like Poker Edge, etc ... where data sharing occurs.

The other thing suspicious is that their stats are nearly identical (I checked my dbase too)

And it appears that they both probably bought into the game for far more than the standard $500 which is uncommon.

Add those two things in there and I think there is no way that these guys do not at least talk poker strategy together. Hopefully after the hands are over.

Hmm, when I lived in Greenville, I was under the impression that Winterville had way more than 15 people. Did everybody leave after the flooding?

It had way more than the town that I grew up in, and my town had a college (Davidson).

edit: um...the town still has a collge, damn these tenses!

It does have to be said that Party low limits is chock full of Stacysmumsxxx ladylucks (or luckylady) and goats.

As to the possible collusion aspect and would two people working as a team sit down with the same names and locations...

If i have learnt one thing, and one thing only, never underestimate the stupidity of colluders.

Always be folding
