villian in this hand is just terrible, he loves to draw, and has no concept of pot odds.
if he has a flush or straight draw he's chasing.

ok so i have ~12K and villian has ~18K.

i'm in the BB w/ J10 spades.

four or five limpers to the button who makes it $200.

i call as does the villian in EP and we take the flop three handed.

pot ~700.
flop : K Q 3 two hearts one spade.

checked to the button who is a very ABC bad player, he bets $300 i make it $1200, villian calls, button folds.

at this point i am about 95% certain the villian is on a flush draw, the guy doesn't really slowplay, and i've never seen him check call w/ top pair.

turn comes a blank.

i lead for $2K knowing i'm getting called and just hoping the river isn't a heart.

river comes a blank and i lead for $5K.

I like the line.

I'm a big fan of doing this with the NFD when i'm pretty certain another straightforward player holds a worse flush draw. might as well make the guy pay to draw to a loser, right?

edit: might lead the river for a little less as the fold will come if he missed almost regardless of size. if he was somehow getting cute, it will cost you less to fold to his push.

If the villain in the hand is the older Asian man that wears thick glasses and owns a bunch of restaurants, then that play is fantastic.

He is very easy to read and the perfect opponent to play against, very loose passive.
