Watching a $1000 NL game on PartyPoker last night. Some dude pissed away $600 with a 96, having hit nothing on the board and no draw. Did this really happen? Does this really happen? Why didn't I get his name so I could tell all of you who play at that level?

last night there were two limpers then a minraise and three callers at the 3/6 table putting like 45 bucks of dead money in the pot so i went all in for 120 bucks from the SB with 96 off. monster.

unfortunately it was called by KK UTG who was limp reraising. life sucks.

I amaze myself how fast I can lose money when I am on tilt. I have pissed away 1000 bucks because I was mad. Perhaps not as bad as what you witnessed but pretty close to it. I still somehow am a winning player.

For example...this was at PP 1000NL. I am in MP and on tilt and probably have 700 behind. I call a pf raise by an idiot who has lost has already rebought 3 times with 97. Flop comes T8x. He bets 40, I reraise to 120, he moves in....and I call and lose to KT. I could have easily taken all this guys money but I was on tilt. I don't play well when mad...

I guess the other people posting in this thread weren't aware that "pissing away" was a synonym for "calling"

I should have pointed out he called the flop, turn and river all without ever hitting the board, having any semblence of a draw or raising.
