[ QUOTE ]

The one time I played 1/2 NL at the Showboat I saw a guy take down the blinds and tip the dealer a nickel.

Was this 2 weeks ago? Every so often if I like a dealer and steal the blinds (at 1-2) I just give it to the dealer

For OD: Showboat is nice if you want to play 2-4 or 3-6 or 1-2NL, in fact if that is all you are planning to play it is the perfect room.
Last time I was there I bought in for $250 and was up to $1,000 in about 20 minutes*
I think you would enjoy it there.

[/ QUOTE ] No, this was shortly after they opened, and he didn't just give the dealer the blinds, he gave more than the blinds...

I hate you. I only managed $250 in about 1.5 hours. Although I busted quite a few people in the process (so wish they had more chips).

Sorry for the thread hijack but.....

does anyone know what the cap is for the Monday 11/28 tourney ($300 + $40)?

That room isn't that big (I would guess 30 tables or so) I'm wondering what time I should get there to register for the noon start. (My first live tourney...yay.)
