Decent MP3 player?
I want to buy one today, like within the next half hour. My last MP3 player was an iPod, and I'd rather kill myself than get another one. I kept it in pristine condition and it decided to stop working one month after the year warranty was up. iPod = satan.
Anyway, can you get a decent MP3 player at Walmart? Something $100-200ish. Although on second though, $ isn't really an issue, I just want something dependable and easy to use. I have a Circuit City nearby, too, but that's like a half hour drive. Radio Shack doesn't sell MP3 players do they? Any help would be appreciated. |

Re: Decent MP3 player?
What are you looking for? A flash player to take running and whatnot, or a hard-drive player with a ton of space and probably better interface?

Re: Decent MP3 player?
If you must have your hands on it in the next hour and for $100-$200, I'd just go to Best Buy or Circuit City and pick up the one that catches your eye. You're probably going to end up making a less than optimal purchase, but that's what impulse buys are about, right?

Re: Decent MP3 player?
The iRiver players seem about 100 times easier to use than the Ipod, and I've heard the sound is better too.

Re: Decent MP3 player?
That's pretty much what I was going to do unless someone had a valid reason not to.

Ooooh. That is quite viable. I gotta figure out if there's a Best Buy around here.
