PL Omaha also teaches semi-bluffing, so your bluff skills are likely to improve.

Also, many of the highest-stakes games out there are mixed games. If you're shooting high, you'll want to know all the basic games.

In addition (as mentioned above) of becoming a tighter post flop player I have become better at reading other players and being able to put them on holding certain hands. In Omaha when I have bet the pot and another player calls you have to be able to read the board and determine what possible cards would have made that call. Stud is also very good for learning how to read your opponents holdings.

astounded at how well your people-reading skills improve.
