Default Bad play or Good play

Hi

Could someone help me with this play I made, was it wrong or right, and could someone help out with the odds i was getting because I get 56.25/46.5 = 1.21 is this right, so i think it makes it a bad play?

Thanks in advance

Yes you got lucky. Aces were still the favorite there by around 58%. It would have been a little different if you were open ended straight flush. The guy with Aces bet enough that it didn't give you odds to call. On the other hand, if I were holding AA there I would have no problem folding. KQ is a very likley hand in that situation.

Not too mention your preflop call was completely idiotic but hey it worked out this time.

Good luck,
Matt

I'm no NL expert, but that preflop call is not a good idea. I'm sure about that.

EDIT: this post shoulkd go in the SS NL forum. Not being a jerk, just FYI. Also, use the hand converter (links abound).
