Default WPT 10K hand, Day 2 (Foxwoods)

Villian in the hand re-raised the chip leader in hand #1 of the day from 2500 to 6000 pre-flop. Chip-leader folded. Then the very next hand he made it 2000 to go in MP (blind 400-800 with 100 ante) folded to BB who called...flop 763, check-check. turn 4, check-BET SMALL-raise-VILLIAN PUSHED. Villain also raised UTG a few hands later to 5 times the BB and took it down. Meanwhile I havent played any of the first 9 hands dealt on Day 2 when this hand comes up...

THE HAND

Folded to me TWO OFF the Button, I have yet to play a hand and make it 3000 to go with AKo(Blinds 400-800 with 100 antes, My stack 27.5K.) Villian makes it 6000 to go from the Cut-Off, his stack is pretty much the same as mine. Folded back to me, whats my action. I have done a lot of thinking about this hand by myself and with friends and have come up with some decent conclusions but I figured I would run it by the forum.

By the way I realize that reads are very important during this hand. I had some but felt like posting it without physical reads would be more interesting.

Ugh, just by how LAGGY he's playing and how vulnerable your hand is to tons of hand postflop, a push might be reasonable.
I guess you can call/fold UI.

Since I don't feel the information we have is enough to say he has a monster when he minraises or bets small, since he has done it a couple times without showdown, I think it is time to say a prayer and shove. If he has just been getting lucky and gets AA/KK, so be it.

I hate that line with AK, I doubt he folds often enough except when you hit an ace or king.

Against someone's that been this aggressive, I don't see how anything but a push is in order. Yes, this could be the time he has a hand, but if you worry about monsters under the bed, it's not going to be long for you anyway. This is the point of the tournament when you need to acquire chips, and this is an excellent hand to give yourself a chance to do so.
