Default 1/2 nl live 55 preflop

stacks:

hero ~500$
villain 1: 32$
villain 2: ~300$

hero is button with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

villain 1 is MP and goes all in for 32 (it was folded to him this was loose villain from 1/2 nl live AA hand #2), villain 2 is seen as tight and calls.

folded to me.

my thinking here was villain 2 has AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ. if i call the 32 and a 5 hits i push, otherwise check fold.

i call.

thoughts?

I don't think you're quite deep enough to make that a profitable call, but it depends on how donkish 2 is post-flop.

Based on the information I would fold.

Is there no chance that the tight player is adjusting to loose bet? Are you positive that if you hit a set and the rock does not that he will call $270 more?

I believe that there is a strong chance that 3 of his possible holdings J-J, A-K, or A-Q he folds post flop unimproved. He has over a 50% chance of holding one of these 3.

Add to this the times you hit a set and still lose I can't make this call.

It probably is not worth a call because you probably will not get paid off if you hit your set. Note, however, that if Villain 2 is any good he doesn't have AA or KK. If he does, he should re-raise to isolate against Villain 1.

I fold this preflop. It's much harder to get action in a dry sidepot than a regular pot.

that's what i was looking for. the stack depths i thought, at the time, were decent for a call on 55 against this rock. however, with more thought, i'd actually like to be covered rather than just have villain be sitting on ~300$
