Default Clap On, Clap Off.....The Clapper.

You're supposed to have to clap twice to activate the dang thing, but one big sneeze and out goes the light. Moderately loud laughing triggers it too, or say the television is on a little too loud, or your girlfriend is a screamer, etc... This Clapper device has been around since the early 1970s or so, you would think they'd have been able to perfect it by now.

Lol, no not quite. I just have this lamp in the living room that doesn't have a wall switch to work the outlet it's plugged into. The lamp is out of reach to where you have to get up to turn it off. Anyway I saw this thing on sale and thought I'd give it a try.

for 25 bucks you can get a plugin that works with a remote wall switch. hardware stores have them. put the switch where you want it.

What's a hardware store? All I have are Home Depots and Lowes. Is CompUSA a hardware store?
