AK on button NL50 6-max
Villian has only 17 hands played with me, but is 41/12 and doesn't really seem solid. I have $43, he has $44.
Flop is Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. He checks to me, I bet $3.50, he calls. Turn is A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] with $12 in pot. He checks to me again, I bet $7, he raises to $14. What do you do? |

Re: AK on button NL50 6-max
Preflop action would be helpful.
He just announced to you that he doesn't have a flush draw. So you are dealing with two made hands here. With the turn A, JT just got there, and that's your main concern. Although he may be donking up a set as well I suppose. I would call the c/r, and plan on calling any bet from him on the river. Unless he bets real tiny and then a river raise would be in order. You'll see AQ/A3/Ax here alot. But I'm going to avoid guessing and try and lose as little as possible the times he has me crushed. |

I like AJ's line. Call, call river.

Re: AK on button NL50 6-max
Sorry, the post got screwed up.
PRF: Folds to CO who limps, I raise to 4xBB ($2) on Button, SB (Villian) calls and BB, CO fold. |

Re: AK on button NL50 6-max
if u call turn then your own gonna have a half pot bet left on the river. your ahead a large% of the time and theres alot of action killers on the river so i would just stick it in on the turn. he will call with all the hands you beat that he is raising with on the turn and any heart/J/T on the river may freeze him.
