Default Crap against resistance

Villian is 22/7/3 after several dozen hands...hasnt done anything that stood out at me.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
4 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, Button folds, SB folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 7 BB

How does this look? I didn't want to check/call the turn because I would have to check/call the river, too if i was behind

Whats wrong with check calling? Although it would be nice to bet and get raised and then you can fold. However - If I had an Ace I would LOVe to have someone bet into me. Then I can call until I'm raised.

For me - if someone bets - I know they probebly do have it.

Just my take

Preflop is good.
Flop is good.
Turn is good.

Nothing to dislike in this hand, other than your luck. If CO wasn't ahead and slow-playing trip aces, he just hit a pair of kings and you're horsemeat. You could make a useless reraise to try and "push him off his bluff," but he's not bluffing often enough for there to be a profit in it. There are 7 BBs in the pot now, and it's going to cost you two more to see a showdown. You're behind so much more often than twice in seven times that it's not even remotely close.

Good hand.

My first thought when I get called in three spots here is "I'm check-folding this turn." There's just not enough out there for 3 people to call without somebody having the ace a decent amount of the time. And when the King falls I think there is no way i'm ahead.

Anyhow, I check fold this turn. Is that horrible? Why?

Reraising here is retarded... if he's bluffing you should let him continue, if he's not hes gonna pop you again... lose/lose

"Driving out bluffers" ...? Why the hell would you do that

Wow, sounds like I really didn't make m'self very clear in my post. By "preflop is good / flop is good / turn is good," I mean that YOUR PLAYS were good. You did it just right in each situation. "Nice hand" means I like the way you played it.

What I meant in my post is that some people might reraise here (uselessly) with the explanation that they are trying to "push him off his bluff," but that doing so is useless. I was explaining why that was a BAD choice, not a good one.

I'd say OP got this hand right at every street.
