Well I usually live in Grand Forks but I spend my summers in western ND dealing craps and playing poker on the reservations.

Cool. My parents live south of Grand Forks, in Mayville, ND. I was back there vacationing after this year's WSOP. You ever make your way down to Dakota Magic Casino, right on the SoDak border? How about Canterbury in Minneapolis? Lots of good games to be had there!

Good Luck,

Michael

UGH! I'm dealt JJ in SB. Raise and two callers. I go ahead and call the raise too. Flop is AJx (delicious). I check, and everyone else checks too! Turn is another blank, and all fold to my bet. DAMN!

I have played at Canterbury but that was a few years ago before the poker boom, right now its a 9 hour drive from where im staying.

The 2nd hour brings cards with it and after a double up with aces up to 2500 and playing with the tourney chip leader who seems to be determined to give up his chips but can't miss a flop or turn or river .

Default OUT after 2 hours of pure bordom

*YAWN*

The best hand I had all night was A10, 7 times, with 7 aces hitting the flop.... 4 winners, 3 folds by me....

Went out with K10 in BB with people calling 2X bet.

10,6,4 all clubs, I have the king of clubs... I push, 1 caller with a pair of 8's....

WOW..as I was writing this, CFerejohn nearly doubled-up with a flopped set!

Yeah, that was the last hand before the break. Moved up to ~3800 then. Flopped bottom set and got paid off all the way by bottom pair.

Then the first hand after the break (blinds 50/100), got J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the CO. EMP raiser who has ~3000. 1 caller. I think about it, then fold. Flop is 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I go to a giant, but imaginary, chip lead. Actually raiser bets on the flop, and the other guy folds. Ah well.

Went out #153. Hovered between 2000 and 3500 for a long time, finally got all-in preflop with ~2800 with QQ vs A7s with a massive stack (~11K). He gets his flush (runner, runner, just for good measure). Bad beat police, I've filled out the required forms in triplicate and your dollar is on its way...
