Default Good Push?

Stars $5.50
3-handed, Big Stack has been playing pretty tight-passive.
Was pushing correct here, or should I have folded and waited till I could open. (stealing had been working fairly well).
If this was bubble this would be a fold, right?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (3 handed) converter

SB (t7040)
Hero (t3185)
Button (t3275)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Button folds, SB raises to t750, Hero raises to t3185, SB calls t2435.

who is this small blind? i assume you know more about him than his stack size. it doesn't seem so bad, with the info given. but of course you could be dominated. more info please.

What range of hands do you think he would raise with here? What is the win% of AQo to this range of hands? I would get my money in with AQo unless I was positive he was a really tight raiser.

I push here. I don't like calling in this situation or folding.

Judging by the % of times he raised, I figured he probably had AK, AQ, definitely pocket 7s and up but probably any pocket, Maybe AJs, KQs. I think the push would've definitely pushed him off of most pockets, AJ, KQ, maybe AQ. I'm not great at estimating range of hands though so who knows?

Thats a pretty tight range for 3-handed play. But if you feel your read is correct than you are about a coinflip against this range of hands. His preflop raise was a little over the top. I am always suspect of this. But this may be a standard type raise for him. You could reraise and leave yourself with 10BB. This would give you the option of folding if he pushes you all-in. I would push this everytime. I rarely have this good a read in 3 way play. I would suspect his range of hands is larger than this.
