Default LO8 2/4 bottom set, second low draw on flop

Basically, I'm looking at this hand and wondering if I butchered it a little bit. Being new to O/8 I tend to call/chase a little too often and probably bet/raise less than I should. A pretty big leak in my play.

Analysis or your line would be greatly appreciated. I tend to still be 'results oriented' which is also a negative.

I don't see the problem. Where do you think you went wrong?

I guess my debate is the value of 3 betting it on the turn.

I got the callers, which I definitely wanted (good high hand, nut low). However, if they folded and I only got the raiser to come along, then I'd seem to be hurting my value versus 'stringing' people along by calling the 8.

I guess I'm trying to apply some limit HE thinking. (3 way action in the middle, w/ a decent hand, it's sometimes better to just call on the river and hope the 3rd comes along, than raise and push him out).

$20 at 8 for 2 callers and original bettor
$12 at 12 for original bettor and raiser

I like the 3-bet. I don't think you mind if someone folds either since you have no counterfeit protection on your low and there might be straight draws out that you should protect against.

I see your point, but I think you played it well. I'm pretty sure i would have done the same thing.

Looks fine. It's not always about stringing people along. I play at this level too and am often amazed what people will come along with.
With this many people in the pot some of them will, and if they call your bet and the original raiser caps, they're calling that one too.

Default Results. People\'s Holdings

I took 3/4. It worked out as well as it could have for me. Seeing the other hands, the call of $12 was pretty easy to make for MP3 with nut low protected and SB with top 2 on the turn (maybe a little loose?).

Hero shows Ac 3h 3d 4s.
MP3 shows Ad 5c 4c 2c.
SB shows Kh Td As 7c.
UTG has Kd Qh 4d 5h.

I'm trying to learn O/8 because I find it much more interesting than HE. I'm just struggling to figure out when to raise, call, chase/fold. I find O/8 fun like I used to feel about HE about a year ago.

If you want to learn, know that SB should never have led out. His hand after the flop was crap.
